Safe, Clinically Studied Digestive Support: Pediatric Through Adult
Smooth & Gentle Bowel Support
CaFi is a standardized extract of Cassia fistula fruit pulp, carefully formulated to support healthy bowel function*. Unlike traditional laxative ingredients that rely on high levels of sennosides, CaFi delivers effective bowel regulation* with a naturally low-sennoside content. Sennosides are stimulant laxatives that can cause dependency and irritation with prolonged use. CaFi’s gentle nature ensures safer use and promotes regularity* without harsh side effects.

Why Low Sennoside Matters
The low-sennoside content in Cassia fistula extract is a key differentiator, ensuring gentle* yet effective bowel regulation* without the drawbacks of traditional stimulant laxatives. Ingredients with high-sennoside values can cause dependency, cramping, and digestive exhaustion. A low-sennoside extract offers a safer, non-habit-forming solution suitable for long-term use. It provides smooth and natural support* without gripping or discomfort*, making it ideal for individuals seeking a milder approach to digestive wellness.

Comprehensive Clinical Evidence Across Multiple Age Groups
CaFi® is supported by FOUR human clinical studies — spanning pediatric, adult, older adult populations, and a direct comparison versus a standard stimulant laxative (senna). Across these studies, CaFi® consistently demonstrated statistically significant improvements in key measures of bowel function, including increased frequency of bowel movements, improved stool consistency, reduced straining, and relief from associated gastrointestinal symptoms.
CaFi® outperformed or differentiated itself from senna in tolerability, with subjects experiencing effective relief without the discomfort, urgency, or cramping commonly associated with stimulant laxatives. Across all studies, there were no clinically meaningful adverse effects on safety parameters.
This breadth of clinical validation — across multiple age groups and against an active comparator — positions CaFi® as one of the most comprehensively studied, family-friendly in the digestive health category.
CaFi® vs. Senna: Head to Head Clinical
Clinically studied effective as senna — without the cramping, urgency, or stimulant-related discomfort.
The Study: A randomized controlled trial comparing CaFi and Senna (Cassia angustafolia)
Study Participants: 60 healthy participants with irregular bowel habits consumed CaFi or Senna over a three-week period.
Results: CaFi (Cassia fistula extract) was as effective as Senna (Cassia angustifolia) in helping to increase the frequency of bowel movements and softening of stool.
Straining during defecation was significantly reduced with CaFi as compared to Senna.
CaFi worked faster vs. Senna, while associated symptoms such as headaches, bloating, and gaseous distension were also relieved.
CaFi group did not experience side effects like gripping, pain in abdomen, and exhaustion after defecation – all of which were observed in the Senna group.
Three Clinical Studies. From Children to Seniors
Clinically studied across pediatric, adult, and older adult populations — with consistent safety and efficacy at every stage of life.
Pediatric Subjects:
Subjects: 120 healthy pediatric participants aged 6-16 with irregular bowels habits took CaFi® Liquid once daily at bedtime for 14 days.
Results: In the pediatric populations, CaFi® demonstrated statistically significant improvements with no known adverse effects in:
- Bowel movement frequency
- Stool softness
- Digestive comfort
Adults and Geriatric Subjects
Subjects: Adults (18–70 years) and Geriatric (60–80 years) populations experiencing constipation and irregular bowel habits. Across both studies, participants received 250 mg CaFi once daily for 14 days
Results: In both adult and older adult populations, CaFi® demonstrated statistically significant improvements with no known adverse effects in:
- Frequency of bowel movements
- Stool softness
- Reduced straining during defecation
- Decreased sensation of anorectal blockage
- Reduced time required for bowel evacuation
- Faster onset of the first urge to defecate
